Meet Sue Cheung
Sue Cheung is a yoga and mindfulness meditation teacher with over a decade of experience teaching at some of London’s most popular studios. She works closely with Yogamatters, the UK’s most trusted online yoga retailer and community hub for students and teachers. For many years she juggled early motherhood, her corporate career and teaching yoga and finally in 2020 she became a full-time yoga & meditation teacher.
In response to the BLM movement and the anti-Asian racism in the United States that intensified during the Covid pandemic, her teaching style evolved to include trauma-informed and social justice influences. Sue studied with the non-profit organisation Off the Mat into the World and has completed the Intermediate I Trauma-Informed Yoga & Somatics Training certification with Collective Resilience. She completed the Communal Consultations in Somatic Abolitism for all Bodies of Culture with Resmaa Menakem, Ja Young Ahn-Williams and Jennifer Lee Koble.
In 2023 she became an Integrative Change Worker through the Ethical Coaching Collective and a life coach with the Life Coach School.
